Double Threat Charters Inc (“we,” “us,” or “our”) operates fishmiamicharters.com. This policy explains what information we collect when you use our website or book a trip with us, how we use it, and the choices you have. If you have any questions, reach out using the contact details at the bottom of this page.
Information we collect
We only collect information that helps us respond to you and run our charter business:
- Information you give us directly. When you fill out our contact form, sign up for our newsletter, or reach out by phone or email, we collect the details you provide, such as your name, email address, phone number, and any message you send.
- Booking information. When you book a trip, the booking is handled by FareHarbor. You provide your booking and payment details to FareHarbor, and we receive what we need to run your trip, such as your name, contact details, and trip selection. We do not see or store your full payment card details; FareHarbor processes payments directly.
- Information collected automatically. Like most websites, we collect basic technical information when you visit, such as your device type, browser, referring website, the pages you view, and general location based on your IP address. We collect this through cookies and analytics tools, described below.
Cookies and analytics
We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use our site so we can improve it. Google Analytics uses cookies to collect standard internet log information and visitor behavior in an aggregated form. This helps us see things like which pages are most popular and how people find us. We do not use this information to identify you personally.
You can control or delete cookies through your browser settings, and you can opt out of Google Analytics using Google’s opt-out browser add-on. Blocking cookies will not stop you from using our site.
How we use your information
We use the information we collect to:

How we share information

- FareHarbor, which handles our online booking and payments
- Netlify, which hosts our website and processes our contact and newsletter forms
- Google Analytics, which provides website usage statistics
- Elfsight and embedded social feeds (such as TikTok and Instagram), which power the reviews and video content on some pages
Each of these providers has its own privacy policy governing how it handles data. We may also disclose information if required by law.
Data retention
We keep the information you send us for as long as we need it to respond to you and to keep records of our bookings and communications, after which we delete or archive it.
Your choices and rights

Children’s privacy
Our website and services are intended for adults booking fishing trips. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with information, please contact us and we will delete it.
Security
We take reasonable steps to protect the information you share with us. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, but we work with reputable providers to help keep your information safe.
